The Pamphleteer |
|
During colonial times in America, if you wanted to convince or inform people about some issue that you considered important, you went to the local printer and got some pamphlets printed. You then handed them out, read them to anybody that was interested, nailed them to the town bulletin board, or the nearest tree.
The first amendment was specifically written to protect this type of activity and the writers or "pamphleteers".

Just Some Thoughts... So Senator Kerry and Senator Edwards are on their tour of America, blah, blah, blah... Anyway, Senator Kerry spots some Marines and decides "it's photo ops time..." Blogs for Bush has the only photo of the event that I've seen so far. If you look at the picture closely, you will see one of the Marine sergeants standing at attention, while the other has stopped eating and is listening to whatever point the Senator is making. This is in accordance with custom, courtesy, tradition, and regulation. The Marines cannot resume eating until the Senator walks away or tells them "Carry on". So until this windbag shuts the hell up and leaves; the Marines, who are probably on a limited time lunch break, must let their food get cold. My brother, who lives in the Commonwealth of Taxachusetts, tells me that Senator Kerry is known as the "Do you know who I am?" Senator for his unbelievable rudeness. There is no way in hell I'd ever vote for this rude motherfucker! A LETTER FROM FLORIDA GOVERNOR
---He told Wisconsin voters he likes to go hunting with his "trusty 12-gauge double-barrel," but he received an "F" from the National Rifle Association. We cannot trust the presidency to someone who makes decisions by holding up his finger to determine which way the political winds are blowing. I hope I can count on your help. Sincerely, s/ Governor Jeb Bush P.S. John Kerry's extreme makeover continued last week in Boston. We need your help to expose the real John Kerry - the most liberal member of the U.S. Senate. Just Some Thoughts... By now everyone who has an opinion has deconstructed Senator John Kerry's acceptance speech. Several news outlets have a picture of the Senator rendering a salute and some cute caption such as "Reporting for Duty", etc, That had to be the worst hand salute in history. Anyone who has spent anytime in the military knows that they would have gotten their butt reamed if they had given a hand salute like Senator Kerry did last night. Senator Kerry's speech was well practiced, a pity he didn't spend a few moments getting the salute correct. Will it cost Senator Kerry votes? Oh yeah, more than you think... The Cultural and Spiritual Legacy of Fiat Inflation A LETTER FROM SENATOR JOHN MC CAIN Dear Patrick, Today we face the greatest test of our generation, defending our nation from a depraved, malevolent force that opposes our every interest and hates every value we hold dear. There was no avoiding this war but we will survive. Our enemies must not. In this challenging time, I am grateful for the leadership of President George W. Bush and his steadfast resolve in defending our nation. He has led this country with moral clarity about the stakes involved and the strength to achieve unconditional victory. Our President has not wavered in his determination to make this world a better, safer, freer place. Our nation must not yield in this long, tough fight to vanquish international terrorism and with George W. Bush as our President, it will not. My friends, this is the most important election of our lifetime and I wouldn't be writing you if I didn't firmly believe in President Bush's leadership and the need for his re-election in these challenging times. As Democrats gather in Boston, I am asking you to demonstrate your strong support for President Bush by making a contribution to his re-election campaign at www.GeorgeWBush.com/JohnMcCain/ today. To the work of many American generations who protected our interests and championed our values abroad must now be added the defense of our freedoms here at home from a clear and present danger. We are very fortunate that in these challenging days we have a President and Vice President that have demonstrated time and again the determined, clear thinking necessary to prevail in this global fight between good and evil. With your continued support and hard work, I am certain that the President's campaign will prevail this November. www.GeorgeWBush.com/JohnMcCain/ Thank you for your belief in our nation and your strong support of President George W. Just Some Thoughts... As a lifelong resident of NYC (Except for time in the military), I have many times done battle with various types of vermin that can invade our living space. Believe me, they're tough to get rid of... What would eliminate ordinary roaches, rats, and Democrats in other parts of the country, doesn't phase the NYC variety. The point that I'm slowly getting to is a story in the New York Post by Deborah Orin, about that worthless scumbag Joseph Wilson IV. I thought we had purged him from the political field, apparently like a NYC cockroach, he's still active. Read more... One thing I've learned in my lifelong battle against NYC vermin, is if they come back, give them the treatment all over again. Therefore, I'm repeating my post of July 11, 2004 and urge everyone to pound this asshole until he's gone. Normally, I try not to repeat political stories more than once on this site. However, the following story has been ignored by the mainstream media, Drudge, Newmax, etc. The only ones interested are the Blogosphere. Subject: Republicans v Democrats (From Dan, our correspondent in the Commonwealth of Taxachsusetts, who is currently a designated driver at the Democratic National Nominating Convention while wearing a New York Yankee baseball cap and a Bush-Cheney 04 button.) (Editor's Note: Don't ask, it'll just drive you crazy.) Are you a Democrat or a Republican? With elections coming up, we should all decide. Question: How do you tell the difference between democrats and republicans? Now look closely. Answer. Pose the following question: You're walking down a deserted street with your wife and two small children. Suddenly, a dangerous looking man with a huge knife comes around the corner, locks eyes with you, screams obscenities, raises the knife, and charges. You are carrying a Glock .40, and you are an expert shot. You have mere seconds before he reaches you and your family. What do you do? ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Democrat's Answer: Well, that's not enough information to answer the question! Does the man look poor or oppressed? Have I ever done anything to him that would inspire him to attack? Could we run away? What does my wife think? What about the kids? Could I possibly swing the gun like a club and knock the knife out of his hand? What does the law say about this situation? Does the Glock have appropriate safety built into it? Why am I carrying a loaded gun anyway, and what kind of message does this send to society and to my children? Is it possible he'd be happy with just killing me? Does he definitely want to kill me, or would he be content just to wound me? If I were to grab his knees and hold on, could my family get away while he was stabbing me? Should I call 9-1-1? Why is this street so deserted? We need to raise taxes, have a paint and weed day and make this a happier, healthier street that would discourage such behavior. This is all so confusing! I need to debate this with some friends for a few days and try to come to a consensus. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Republican's Answer: BANG! In millions of homes around the country, families, friends and neighbors will gather for the National Convention Watch Party for the President - our third National Party Day - to hear the President speak. Will you join us? For more than a year, the Democrats have attacked while their candidates have equivocated on every issue from education and the economy to Iraq and the War on Terror. And next week in Boston, the Democrats will formally nominate their candidate. Their supporters have called the President a thug, a criminal, and a killer, and John Kerry and John Edwards say such remarks represent the "Heart and Soul" of America. Show them how wrong they are! Show them the Heart and Soul of America supports President George W Bush. Host a Convention Watch Party for the President! In April, we held more than 5,200 parties for the President, in July, we held nearly 7,000. Make our Party on September 2 the biggest and best! Setting up your party is quick and easy. Just tell us when your party starts and who you'd like to invite and we'll handle the rest. We'll send the invitations, and they can RSVP online. You can even invite fellow Bush Volunteers in your area to join your celebration. Will you join the Party today? Sincerely, S/ Marc Racicot Chairman P.S. Just Some Thoughts... You have to feel sorry for the City of Boston. The city will be getting a double dose of bad news. The New York Yankees arrive tonight to start a three game series that will finish off the Boston Red Sox's season. Then Monday, the Democratic Party Nominating Convention arrives in town. Talk about the Curse of the Bambino. And we've been sent the following by Dan, our correspondent in the Commonwealth of Taxachusetts, who has also volunteered to be a designated driver at the Convention.
Sad to say, but there are many Democrats who think that one or more of the agenda items should be real. A RABID ROTTWEILER (Submitted by various correspondents.) Two boys in Boston were playing basketball when one of them was attacked a rabid Rottweiler. Thinking quickly, the other boy ripped a board off a nearby fence, wedged it into the dog's collar and twisted it, breaking the dog's neck. A newspaper reporter from the Boston Herald witnessed the incident and rushed over to interview the boy. The reporter began entering data into his laptop, beginning with the headline: "Brave Young Celtics Fan Saves Friend From Jaws Of Vicious Animal." "But I'm not a Celtics fan," the little hero interjected. "Sorry," replied the reporter. "But since we're in Boston, Mass, I just assumed you were." Hitting the delete key, the reporter begins again, "John Kerry Fan rescues Friend From Horrific Dog Attack." "But I'm not a Kerry fan either," the boy responds. The reporter says, "I assumed everybody in this state was either for the Celtics or Kerry or Kennedy. What team or person do you support?" "I'm a Houston Rockets fan and I really like George W. Bush" the boy says Hitting the delete key, the reporter begins again: "Arrogant Little Conservative Bastard Kills Beloved Family Pet." However, every cloud has a silver lining. The DNCC sent me the following, and my first reaction was "What a load of crap!". Just Some Thoughts... Instead of doing any original work, I'm more than glad to turn this over to Blogs for Bush: With the shameful fundraiser Kerry & Edwards held last Thursday, I've Is It a Stroke? (From John, our correspondent in Narrowsburg.) This was published in a monthly newsletter where a friend of mine lives and she sent it on. I had never heard this advice before and hadn't a clue. Perhaps you hadn't either and would like to file it away in the back of your head. "Sometimes symptoms of a stroke are difficult to identify. Unfortunately, the lack of awareness spells disaster. The stroke victim may suffer brain damage when people nearby fail to recognize the symptoms of a stroke. Now doctors say any bystander can recognize a stroke asking three simple questions: * ask the individual to smile. If he or she has trouble with any of these tasks, call 9-1-1 immediately and describe the symptoms to the dispatcher. After discovering that a group of non-medical volunteers could identify facial weakness, arm weakness and speech problems researchers urged the general public to learn the three questions. They presented their conclusions at the American Stroke Association's annual meeting last February. Widespread use of this test could result in prompt diagnosis and treatment of the stroke and prevent brain damage." PASS IT ON.... However, the following story has been ignored by the mainstream media, Drudge, Newmax, etc. The only ones interested are the Blogosphere. Kevin Patrick wrote on Blogs for Bush about a story about Joe Wilson, he When this story broke back in February/March of this year; the media was in a feeding frenzy. Indictments of Vice-President Cheney and Karl Rove were supposed to be just around the corner. Now it appears that if anyone should be indicted, it would be Ambassador Joseph Wilson IV. A LETTER FROM PRESIDENT BUSH'S CAMPAIGN MANAGER Dear Patrick, On Thursday night in New York City, the liberal left of Hollywood and the Kerry campaign got together for a star-studded hate fest the New York Times described as an "unsparing skewering of the Bush administration" that featured "actors and comedians denouncing the president as a liar, making off-color jokes about his name, and accusing him of risking soldiers' lives for political gain." Kerry said "every single performer" had "conveyed to you the heart and soul of our country." We disagree, and we're pretty sure you do too. The Heart and Soul of America may disagree with a President, but they have respect for the office - a respect the Kerry campaign and its supporters seem unwilling, or unable to show in favor of vicious, venomous rhetoric. Help us fight these attacks by making a contribution today at www.GeorgeWBush.com/Contribute. With your help, we can show the liberal elite that the Heart and Soul of America doesn't believe in the politics of pessimism and hate spread by the Kerry-Edwards ticket, but prefers the politics of optimism and the President's positive agenda. www.GeorgeWBush.com/Contribute Help us ensure we have the resources to hit back the next time Kerry's coalition of out-of-the-mainstream surrogates call the president a "a cheap thug" or refer to the Administration as "a self-serving regime of deceit, hypocrisy and belligerence." Help us continue spreading the President's hopeful message. Help us reject the hypocrisy of the Kerry-Edwards ticket - hypocrisy that was on display Thursday night, and yet strangely culminated with Edwards claiming our campaign is one of "hateful, negative politics." The Kerry-Edwards ticket clearly demonstrated who is waging the hateful and negative campaign by refusing to denounce the performers at Thursday's event. Fight back! Theresa Heinz Kerry Changing Party Registration So I'm down at the local diner razzing the Democrats..."John Edwards is so handsome..."..."Let's see the videotape of the Kerry fundraiser..." and on and on and on... So many targets, so little time. Then some nitwit stated that Theresa Heinz Kerry switched from the Republican Party because she was mad about the treatment of Senator Max Cleland. Thank God for the internet. I happened to find the following story detailing the real facts of her change in party. It started back in 1994 when, Rick Santorum was running the first time. More...
