The Pamphleteer

During colonial times in America, if you wanted to convince or inform people about some issue that you considered important, you went to the local printer and got some pamphlets printed. You then handed them out, read them to anybody that was interested, nailed them to the town bulletin board, or the nearest tree. The first amendment was specifically written to protect this type of activity and the writers or "pamphleteers".

Just Some Thoughts...

By now everyone who has an opinion has deconstructed Senator John Kerry's acceptance speech.

Several news outlets have a picture of the Senator rendering a salute and some cute caption such as "Reporting for Duty", etc,

That had to be the worst hand salute in history. Anyone who has spent anytime in the military knows that they would have gotten their butt reamed if they had given a hand salute like Senator Kerry did last night.

Senator Kerry's speech was well practiced, a pity he didn't spend a few moments getting the salute correct.

Will it cost Senator Kerry votes?

Oh yeah, more than you think...
