The Pamphleteer

During colonial times in America, if you wanted to convince or inform people about some issue that you considered important, you went to the local printer and got some pamphlets printed. You then handed them out, read them to anybody that was interested, nailed them to the town bulletin board, or the nearest tree. The first amendment was specifically written to protect this type of activity and the writers or "pamphleteers".

BLOGGERS: HELP CUT THE BUDGET!

Matt, over at Blogs for Bush has put out a call for bloggers to help cut the budget. He's asking you to pick an area of the budget, analyze it, and suggest cuts.

I looked at the Department of Housing and Urban Development, and wondered "What is this crap?" Since my first impulse was to cut the whole department, I think I'll recuse myself on this exercise.
