The Pamphleteer

During colonial times in America, if you wanted to convince or inform people about some issue that you considered important, you went to the local printer and got some pamphlets printed. You then handed them out, read them to anybody that was interested, nailed them to the town bulletin board, or the nearest tree. The first amendment was specifically written to protect this type of activity and the writers or "pamphleteers".

Dealing with CBS/Viacom

CBS/Viacom is a publicly traded corporation that is governed by the security laws of the United States of America. That means that the corporation has a Board of Directors, who have legal and fiduciary duties to the shareholders and to the general public.

Sarbanes-Oxley, legislation passed in reaction to Enron and Worldcom/MCI, et al, imposes even higher standards of behaviour than was previously expected of Boards of Directors.

Below are the members of the Board of Directors and their affiliations. May I suggest the following:

Go to PlanetFeedback.com, and enter the name of the company, then write to the company and inform them that someone on the CBS/Viacom Board of Directors, that is affiliated with their company is not fulfilling their public duty. The tone should be "more in sorrow than anger", however, the final club is that we will boycott them, CBS/Viacom, and the advertisers on CBS.

Go! Do it! Have fun! Be creative!
